Want to know why youre feeling stuck?

Its not what you think it is

You are doing enough

You just need to give yourself more time.

At the end of the day, Nutrition can be broken down into a few simple principles

  • Burn more calories than you consume to lose weight

  • Eat more calories than you burn to gain weight

  • Protein builds muscle

  • Carbs and fats are fuel sources

  • Fiber is great for your gut

Nothing of what you just read is sexy or fancy or a shiny object. It's simple practices done over a period of time that will drive results. There are thousands of case studies, research papers, and anecdotal evidence to back this up. If each person in the aforementioned studies stuck to their plan they would achieve their goals. The only variable was time and that depends on many different factors.

You might read a study or read an article about how Sally lost 40lbs in 30 days. That is either a flat-out fucking lie or severely unhealthy for Sally. She most likely will gain that weight back and be in a worse spot than when she started. Look I get it, you want results just like Sally. Shit, you want results yesterday. I know this because I was in your shoes once, I lived the exact thoughts you are currently having. I hate to break this to you but this isn't an Instagram reel showing progress or a Rocky training montage. This is real life. You are going to have to do those boring principles I mentioned earlier for a really long time. 

Want to know why you're feeling stuck? You aren't doing the right things for a long enough time. If you're reading this, you are most likely doing the right things just not for a long enough time. Just because you eat in a calorie deficit ( burn more than you consume) for 2-4 weeks doesn't mean you will lose the 5- 10 lbs you want to. Most of my 1:1 clients don't see those results until the midpoint of month 2! Why does that take so long? Because I work with them to ensure they get to live a normal social life and eat foods they like. None of my clients are ever put on a strict macro plan with approved foods. Nor do they ever bring a food scale or Tupperware to a restaurant. I would fire their ass in a second if they ever did that!

I'll make you a promise right now. If you send me your goal and stick to it for over 3 months, that’s 12 weeks or 90 days.
