If you havent said this before youre lying
“ I know what to do im just not doing it”
This sentence pisses me off so much
Why?
If you knew what to do you would be doing it!
You know what to do but do you know HOW to do it?
That is the big shift you need to learn
How do I eat healthy?
How do I lose the last 3-5lbs?
How do I eat enough so I can push through this workout?
Asking yourself how completely changes the way you will approach your nutrition. This approach will now allow you to be more CONFIDENT in your choices. You will start to eat differently for a longer period of time because you know what the end result will be.
Gone are the days of saying to yourself “ I need to eat healthy so I can lose weight”
That mindset from above is what led you to eat a certain way for a few weeks and then drop off. There is no plan. No roadmap. Just a very broad statement with a very broad goal. How are you supposed to hold yourself accountable when you don’t even know how to get there?
This new way of thinking forces you to chunk down your big goal into smaller goals.
Eating healthy becomes having protein with all 3 of my meals
Or
Eating healthy becomes including more veggies with each meal
This shift allows you to stop the cycle of “good” for 3 weeks, bad for 1. Now you can shift your goals from weeks to months and in a few months you will have progressed so much that you will look back and laugh at how simple it was.
