Be objective with yourself

Dont let your emotion be the reason

When it comes to losing weight or eating healthy, almost everyone I talk to lies. Yes I am including you. You lie to me and you don’t even realize it.

Whenever i bring on a new client, I always ask them “What have you eaten today”. This has switched from “What do you normally eat?” I switched this because i kept getting lied to. I would get the same generic response of “ egg whites & turkey bacon for breakfast, a salad with chicken for lunch, chicken and rice for dinner”

That answer is bullshit and you know it. So what else are you lying to yourself about?

A big thing you lie to yourself about is your total calorie intake. You say you want to lose weight and that you will track macros but it’s been 5 weeks and there hasn’t been any change. There is either an underlying medical issue or you aren’t being honest with yourself. You might be entering the right foods into your food tracker, but are you including everything else in your day? Are you including those times you pick at the candy in the house? Or that one Oreo you ate?

Im not here to slight anyone for wanting to lose weight. If it’s been 5+ weeks and there hasn’t been any change you need to take a good look at yourself and be objective about it.

PS: Im not being an asshole here, I had to do this with myself recently and it has been game-changing. I was tracking my macros but not accounting for eating cookies at night or eating a handful of chocolate every day. I wasn’t losing weight, I was gaining weight actually. So just know you aren’t alone in this.

If this sounds like you respond to this and let me know! Id love to share my tips on how I fixed this!
