I goofed up

This weekend you got an email from me that was weird. Let me explain what happened

I can't believe I did this.

Lately, I've been trying to find the best platform to use for my emails (no, you're not crazy if you noticed my emails have looked a little different recently).

Anyway, this Saturday you received a strange email from me that was a total accident. It said "Welcome to Enhanced Nutrition" and then it was a stock email with a link to my website.

Yeah.. I didn't mean to do that. Technology - 1 Mike - 0.

However, it reminded me of an important coaching point that I use with my clients...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

So often we want to change things just for the sake of change and we ignore the fact that we were making great progress and change wasn't necessary.

My old system wasn't broken, I simply got distracted by a shiny new object...

I plan on keeping this email short today but I want you to apply this lesson to your life. Since you are here for nutrition and fitness advice, let's apply this to you!

You might think your fitness program is boring. “ I keep doing the same movements each week”. But I raise the question, are you improving each week?

Same applies to your nutrition. It might get boring eating the same foods or eating to the same macros. But if your goal is to lose 5-10lbs, this is how it's done. It's not always sexy and there are always going to be other diets around.

Don't be like me, stick to the plan and watch progress steadily increase.

PS: I will be hosting a CrossFit nutrition webinar on 12/18 @ 7:30 pm EST. We will discuss nutrition basics, pre & post-WOD nutrition, and best recovery practices. You can sign up here or hit reply and say “interested” and I’ll make sure a spot is saved for you :)

Dont forget to call your mom
