Eating healthy is a skill

Eating healthy is a skill

Learning to eat healthy is a lot like learning how to ride a bike. It is something everyone should know how to do and it should be relatively easy to pick back up if you feel like you stopped.

Before I go any deeper into this analogy I need to describe what is eating healthy.

Is it:

  • Eating more veggies?

  • Eating more protein?

  • Eating smaller portions?

  • Eating more leafy greens?

That list can be endless but for the sake of time, please sit with this question for a few minutes before you continue to read.

“What is eating healthy considered for me?”

Now that you know what this looks like you have two options to figure this out

Option 1: Self-led - this will take longer, and be very frustrating but it will be incredibly rewarding

Option 2: Get help - This will be shorter, you will have to spend money, it will be incredibly rewarding

Either option that you choose will work and be very rewarding. There is no wrong answer, it just comes down to how long you want it to take and how stressful you want it to be.

Think back to when you were learning how to ride a bike, it fucking sucked to fall down and have to pick yourself up and the bike. It was slightly less crappy when you had someone there to pick up the bike for you and encourage you to get back on.

Learning to eat healthy is no different. You are going to fuck it up a lot in the beginning but each time you do, you get one step closer to learning the best way for you.

Remember: don't quit
